Lotus Chiropractic Care since 2012 has been owned and operated by Dr. Ashka Mehta - Chiropractor.
Ashka graduated from Murdoch University, Perth with a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Chiropractic double degree. She is also a qualified Dry Needling practitioner.
In addition to operating her own clinical practices here in Perth for the past 10 years, Dr. Ashka has worked as a locum chiropractor in Perth, Brisbane, Echuca, Dunsborough, Bunbury and Esperance. She expanded her knowledge as far away as India with the Hands on India - Chiropractic Outreach Program. It's safe to say you will be in experienced hands with her!

The symptoms of pain and stiffness resulting from a chronic musculoskeletal conditions such as arthritis can be life altering. We believe people should not be forced to give up on the things they love doing whether it be work or hobbies. Don’t dismiss pain as being “normal”, or just a part of “getting old”. Through treatment and exercise, pain can be relieved and managed so you can get back to doing the things you love.
Acute injuries from sports, work, and accidents can be restrictive and even debilitating. Occasionally things get better on their own, so people wait in the hope that the problem will resolve itself. After identifying the root cause whether it be joint or muscle (or something else) our chiropractor can determine the best treatment to help accelerate your recovery. Using evidence based chiropractic techniques, we can ease your pain and allow you to live life to the fullest.
Lotus Chiropractic Care began in Willetton in 2012 and has since expanded to Kenwick and Gosnells for patient convenience.
People are surprised to see that each of our clinics are located inside a medical centre. We pride ourselves on the trust we receive from your medical doctor. It's important that all health professionals involved in your care (dentists, doctors, podiatrists, chiropractors) are aware of the other treatments you are receiving and understand their importance in order to best manage your care.

*The cost of the treatment includes all modalities of treatment including dry needling.
Standard consultation

If you have chiropractic cover as part of your ancillary or “extras”, you will be able to claim on the spot using our HICAPS machine. We accept all private health funds.

Your claim will come under the Workers’ Compensation Act or Insurance Commission of WA. You will need to notify us (at the time of booking) of your claim number before we can proceed. If you do not have a claim number you may still attend the appointments but will have to pay for the sessions and claim reimbursement from your insurer.

Enhanced Primary Care (EPC) plan or Chronic Disease Management (CDM) plan referral patients will be charged a gap payment of $10 per session. The remaining cost of the treatment is covered by Medicare.

DVA patients require a GP referral for chiropractic treatment. Both Gold Card and White Card holders are able to receive chiropractic care under DVA. Patients will be bulk-billed with no out-of-pocket expense.

Both Plan-Managed (Plan Partners, My Plan Manager, Moira, Leap In,) and Self-Managed NDIS patients are able to choose chiropractic treatment as their allied health service.
